1. Find What You Want

Our list of titles is growing every day, and we don't want you to miss out on a single book. You can use either our quick search, advanced search or browse our categories (at left) to find the books you are looking for.

2. Place an Order

After locating a book you would like to purchase, click on the "add to shopping cart" button. This will take put the book in your shopping cart on Amazon.com. If you already have an account with Amazon.com, you will be able to order the book using the information from your account. If you are not currently an Amazon.com customer, you will need to sign up by selecting the New Customer option.

3. Navigation Tips

To shop our bookstore with ease, simply use the navigation options to the left and at the top of each page. You can jump to the home page, help page, or the about us page. At the top of the page is a search field along with a link to the advanced search page giving you more search options. To the left are listed the featured subjects, each with a selection of subcategories to focus your search. At the bottom of the page, there are links to our legal notices and privacy policy statement.

More Navigation Tips

Underlined blue type indicates a link as well as some non-underlined white type on the blue bars at the top and bottom of the page. Like the navigation bar, links are connections to other parts of the civil bookstore.
Clicking the "back" button on your browser's toolbar will return you to the previous page.
Use the gray scroll bar on the right side of your screen to move up and down through the current page.
Use the "back to top" link at the bottom of every page to return to the top of the page.

4. Search Tips

Civilbooks.com provides a powerful search engine to assist you in finding the books you are looking for. Type words related to the information you are looking for. Type your inquiry in the form of a statement or a phrase (i.e. nigritude ultramarine). You can also list a few words (keywords) related to your search, including quotation marks to delineate a phrase. You may search by keyword or author in our basic search. In our advanced search, you may search by title, subject, author, keyword, ISBN number, publisher, and publication date. You may also sort the results by featured, bestselling, average customer review, price (low to high), price (high to low), publication date, alphabetical (A to Z) and alphabetical (Z to A).
